| We have started Maine's first Police Emerald Society. We are in the very initial stages of this rewarding project both with its organization and its structure. - On the 25th day of July in the year 2000 a handful of some of Maine's finest met to discuss the details of this endeavor. It was decided that at the next meeting we along with other prospective members would come together and start to lay the foundation of our new society. Since that day there have been several meetings and the society is up and running. We have formed our by-laws, elected officers, and are in the process of a large membership drive. At this time we have members from dozens of different departments and we are looking to grow. We have come a long way since that first meeting and there is no limit to what we can achieve. So if you are interested in joining what is to become one of Maine's finest law enforcement affiliated organizations please continue to explore our site for further details. Please keep checking the Meeting Info and News Page, for the specifics of the next meeting we will be updating the site every couple of days. Law Enforcement Officers Of Irish Heritage are encouraged to attend and participate in forming what is soon to be one of the best fraternal Law Enforcement organizations in the State. |
